Functionalities

With Corebridge STAR Gateway, the following functionalities are enabled from Microsoft Lync and Skype for business client application:

  • Make call to internal or external number by using the company existing telephony infrastructure.
  • Answer incoming calls from external and internal numbers.
  • Hang up, Hold, un-hold.
  • Blind Transfer, Attended Transfer and Call Divert to external and internal numbers.
  • Conference call.
  • Call decline (call reject).
  • Video Call, Chat and desktop sharing.
  • Bi-directional phone forwarding detection.
  • DTMF Control.
  • Delivery of telephony presence whatever the device type is (including mobile phones).
  • Support of multi-device.
  • Call identification from 3rd party applications (Meta directory option).
  • No “call control” application is installed on user desktop (only Lync or skype client is required). Only in case if you activate the “interactive mode” option, a Windows Service should be installed on user desktop. The Interactive mode enables Skype client application to detect all operations performed from your phone device
  • Centralized administration.
