David Dey assumes Corebridge chair
31 October 2007
After very active involvement in Corebridge's business development as an Advisor since 2005, David Dey has assumed non-executive chairmanship of the company's board of directors.
David was the founder and former Chief Executive Officer of Energis, the third largest telecommunications operator network in the UK. A former Managing Director and board member of British Telecommunications plc, most recently Mr Dey has been the Executive Chairman of a number of successful early stage enterprises such as Alpha Telecom and Neos Networks. He chairs Technology For Business Plc, the UK's market leader in the supply of software solutions to lawyers. Prior to his tenures at BT and Energis, Mr Dey enjoyed a long and successful career at IBM Corporation and as a Managing Director and main board director of Plessey PLC. He brings over thirty years of experience at the most senior levels of the UK and European telecommunications industries to Corebridge's board and has unrivalled knowledge of the demanding needs of multinational corporate customers.
The board recognised the exceptional business insight and value that Mr Dey has so far delivered to Corebridge. "We are delighted to welcome David in his new capacity," said Corebridge's Chief Executive Oficer Francis Zadan. "Our business relationships with several of our most valued partners have resulted from David's valuable initial introductions and they have, in turn, resulted in the acquisition of many of our principal customers."
