Corebridge joins Middle East Association mission
30 November 2007
Corebridge’s Chief Executive Officer, Francis Zadan, represented the company at a mission of the Middle East Association to Casablanca in November 2007. The mission travelled to Morocco, where Britain is presently the fourth largest investor, in order to strengthen bilateral business ties.
Corebridge is one of a number of European companies spearheading the recruitment of offshore technical personnel in the North African kingdom. As such, Dr Zadan was pleased to represent Corebridge’s interests as part of the national delegation which was led by the Middle East Association’s patron, His Royal Highness The Duke of York.
“One of the purposes of the delegation was to discuss the potential for offshoring IT resources in Morocco,” commented Dr Zadan. “ We are presently undertaking a feasibility study investigating the potential launch of an offshore R&D centre in Morocco. Corebridge has significant interests in the French market and so we recognised the potential of the Moroccan labour market pretty quickly.”
