Teamwork and Supervision
Team Tracking (CoreTeam)
Team Overview functionality gives group supervisors an extended view of their team members’ presence and activities. A supervisor is able to see immediately whether team members are logged on or off, connected to the system, or whether a PC is locked or running a screen saver and so on.
Furthermore, it is possible to see whether a user is engaged on the phone or available to take a call. It makes it easy to see how a team is using its telephone system, who they are calling and who is calling them.
In order to comply with local privacy regulations, staff members have the option to mark calls as private. The supervisor cannot see these. However, the supervisor remains able to monitor the level and frequency of private calls, which can considerably reduce system abuse.
Video Calls (CoreVision)
Corebridge Solution has video-conferencing capabilities that can be set up on any PC. Corebridge co-ordinates flow of audio through the telephony system and transmission of video across the data network. This simple architecture adds a valuable facility to any organisation’s intranet without the need for high-cost, dedicated video-conferencing systems. A video conference from user’s desk within organisation’s intranet is a simple webcam and phone call away.
Corebridge Solution’s videophone and video-conferencing capabilities can extend to as many conference calls as the enterprise telephone system can handle. Other than the number of calls that may be conferenced by the telephone system, there are no other theoretical limitations. However there may be practical limitations on how many video shots can be displayed by user’s computer or laptop screen. In our experience twelve calls in conference can be reasonably managed in a normal fifteen-inch desktop or laptop screen. This number may increase as your screen size increases.
It should be noted that Corebridge Videophony is not intended to replace dedicated video-conferencing solution and is only a cost effective alternative.
