Corebridge appoints a General Manager for its operations in northern Europe.

London: Corebridge is pleased to announce the appointment in London of a General Manager for its operations in northern Europe. Mary Guiney joins Corebridge from IBM where she has had significant success managing sales in the United Kingdom and Ireland since 1999. Having begun her career in marketing, Mary moved into sales at IBM where she broke new ground for the corporation by winning multimillion-pound contracts with the devolved government of Northern Ireland and then in Enterprise Licence Agreements with the United Kingdom government.

At IBM she went on to turn around failing sales sections and successfully integrated new software acquisitions into the IBM brand, rising to manage mid-market software sales in the UK, Ireland and South Africa. In this role she has delivered three-digit growths in sales of the majority of IBM’s software products.
