Senior Account Manager – Financial Services Sector
Job description
As a Senior Account Manager you will be responsible for the sale of Corebridge’s product line within a specific territory. You will work closely with Fortune 1000 customers and partners as you find, develop and qualify sales opportunities ($50K to $5million).
Some of your key deliverables will include:
- Prospecting and driving campaigns at the CFO, CEO, CTO and CIO level
- Consistently achieving quarterly and annual sales quotas
- Responsibility for sales of software licences, maintenance, consulting services
- Maintaining primary account responsibility through the entire sales cycle from the initial project right through to implementation, performing ongoing account management duties to ensure customer satisfaction and referenceability
- Negotiating agreements, creating account strategy plans, and deploying/allocating appropriate resources to an account
Throughout your career selling financial, business intelligence or analytical software you have been successful in developing new business through a combination of prospecting, marketing-supported lead generation, direct selling efforts and channel partners. You have consistently demonstrated the ability to exceed quota assignments, manage a complex sell cycle and develop new business relationships and opportunities.
Your keys to success in this role (where some travel will be required) are your strong business acumen, understanding of business applications and processes, and the ability to utilise this knowledge to sell solutions at the highest level of management for prospective customers.
Required:
- Third Level Education
- At least 5 years' experience selling at CXO level to Financial Markets
- Strong solution sales experience selling big ticket items
- Presence and intellect to influence and persuade CXOs within large financial institutions
- Excellent presentation and negotiation skills
